01 Jun Balkan International Wine Competition 2016
This year we participated in the competition with three wines and two of them won silver medals. These are BERGULE MELNIK & PINOT NOIR and APLAUZ MERLOT RESERVE 2013. The festival took place in Grand Hotel Sofia on May 28-29. Villa Melnik is proud to have participated in the event, which with its massive attendance was a total success.
The 14 judges this year came from 11 countries and 4 of them were Masters of Wine. 8 Balkan countries took part in the competition. We want to thank the organizing committee for a job well done and to say congratulations to all the winners!
At our stand we exhibited our new range of white and rosé, vintage 2015. Everyone who came up to us was offered to try our Bergule Chardonnay & Viognier, Bergule Rose, Orange Wine, Aplauz Chardonnay Sur Lie and Aplauz Viognier Sur Lie. We also offered our red Bergule Melnik 55, Bergule Melnik & Pinot Noir and Aplauz Merlot.
