Villa Melnik earned three medals from Balkans International Wine Competition 2022!
- Gold – Melnik Family Tree 2019
- Silver – Rare Varieties Melnik 82 2019
- Silver – Aplauz Reserve Merlot 2018
The 10th edition of the Balkans International Competition and Festival took place in Juen 2022. The competition judging was conducted in Skopije, Serbia, and the festival – in Sofia, Bulgaria. The wine competition received wine samples from over 300 producers from all Balkans countries. The jury members includes international wine experts such as: Igor Lukovic, Konstantinos Lazarakis MW, Count John Salvi MW, Caroline Gilby MW, Rod Smith MW, Robin Kick MW, Chryssa Giatra Batzi, Darius Pripon, Elias Macovela, Paul Robert Blom, Tzveta Tanovksa, Ivana Simijanovska, Horia Hasnas, Sasa Spiranec, Tomislav Ivanovic, Evangelos Beris, and others.
