The world-renowned Chef Gianfranco Chiarini and his wife Chef Anna Chiarini held two exclusive Wine & Gourmet Pop-Up Dinners at Wine Cellar Villa Melnik on 25 and 26.08.2022.<\/p>\n
The two chefs stirred the culinary community by opening Boutique Restaurant Dieci in Devino, Targovishte Region (winner of the prestigious \u201cDebut\u201d award by Bacchus magazine in 2022) and stating that they are working towards earning the first Michelin Star for Bulgaria.<\/p>\n
The Pop-up dinners at Villa Melnik were modelled after the Dieci experience: 10-course dinner, each dish paired with a wine by Villa Melnik, 10 guests per night only. The food demonstrated the values that the Chiarini family and the Zikatanov family share: sustainability, terroir, local products and indigenous varieties.<\/p>\n
Chef Hugues Boutin, head chef of the Culinary Arts Institute, Varna, assisted the Dieci team during the event. The artisan bread for the evening was baked by Chef Kiril Vezarov, owner of hotel Colosseo and Restaurant Medici, Sandanski.<\/p>\n
