From March 15 to 17, 2026, Villa Melnik participated in the most significant event on the global wine calendar \u2013 the ProWein international trade fair in D\u00fcsseldorf, Germany. Our winery was part of the Bulgarian national pavilion, where, alongside 19 other leading producers, we presented our country as a modern and competitive wine destination.<\/p>\n
The primary focus of Villa Melnik\u2019s presentation to the international audience was the authentic character of our region. Visitors and industry professionals had the opportunity to discover unique local varieties and their contemporary interpretations:<\/p>\n
ProWein is the world\u2019s largest trade fair for wines and spirits, annually bringing together thousands of exhibitors and tens of thousands of professional visitors. For the third consecutive year, the participation of Bulgarian winemakers with a national pavilion was organized with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. This initiative is part of a consistent strategy to establish the “Bulgaria” brand on international markets and to highlight the high quality of Bulgarian wines with a distinct regional character.<\/p>\n
The collective efforts of the participating wineries demonstrate that the Bulgarian wine sector is united in its mission to position the country among the nations producing wines with an authentic spirit and uncompromising quality.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
