Then continue with an engaging talk and tasting that will introduce you to the world of wine sensory analysis. The organoleptic lesson will be conducted using a professional aroma training kit specially designed for sommeliers.
The kit includes a palette of aromatic essences representing the most common wine scents—from the freshness of citrus to the warmth of spices and woody notes. To make the process even more fun and interactive, the training is presented as a game, where participants work with the "aroma wheel." This is a structured approach to grouping and recognizing aromas, allowing both beginners and experienced winelovers to deepen their knowledge.

The tour will take you through all stages of production in the modern gravity-flow winery: from grape sorting and fermentation to bottling and aging in oak barrels stored under ideal natural conditions in the underground tunnel cellars, deeply dug into the sandy hill behind the winery.
During the tour, you will discover Villa Melnik’s wine library — a special underground wine vault where bottles covered in cobwebs, dust, and memories are stored. These wines await opening to reveal their depth and character. Limited collections from each vintage are kept here as true historical witnesses to the quality and uniqueness of our wines.
The tour concludes with a tasting of 5 selected wines, including a vertical tasting of enoteca wines from the vault. This will allow you to understand how wine from the same variety differs across vintages. You will experience flavors and aromas that only time can create. Next, enjoy a tour of our modern winery, following the journey of the wine – from the grapes, received on the top floor, naturally flowing downwards by gravity to the fermentation, bottling, and aging rooms. You will peek into the oenologist’s laboratory, where science meets tradition. Then descend into our underground cellars, carved into the sandy hill, where barrels rest, and reach the wine vault where we keep our enoteca treasures.
The highlight of the tour is a tasting of 6 selected wines from local and international grape varieties, paired with breadsticks, nuts, and seasonal fruits from our garden. Let yourself shine among the vineyards – in front of the lens, in your full beauty. Feel special, confident, and inspired as a professional photographer captures your most beautiful moments. The setting of Villa Melnik – with its magical views and golden light – is the perfect stage for memories you will share with pride and love.
The experience begins with a winery tour, where you will learn more about the history of the estate, winemaking in the area, and the unique local grape varieties. You will follow the entire production process – from grapes to bottle – and explore the impressive underground tunnels where barrels and bottles age to perfection.
After the tour, enjoy a tasting of 5 carefully selected wines – white, rosé, and red, from both local and international varieties. The duration of the tour and tasting is around 90 minutes.
Following the tasting, it’s time for your professional photoshoot, captured by an experienced portrait photographer at up to three scenic locations on the winery grounds – among the vineyards, by the pond, or in the authentic barrel cellar. The photoshoot lasts about 40 minutes. Within 7 working days, you will receive 30 curated images with color correction in digital format. You may also order printed photos on photo paper, with a passe-partout or in a frame.
This service is ideal for ladies, but with prior arrangement can be adapted for couples, families, or bachelorette parties. Photoshoots are possible year-round, though spring, summer, and autumn are most suitable. Advance booking at least 10 days in advance is required, depending on the photographer’s availability and weather conditions.

След дегустацията е време за вашата професионална фотосесия, заснета от опитен портретен фотограф в до три живописни локации на територията на винарната – сред лозята, край езерото или в автентичната атмосфера сред бъчвите. Фотосесията продължава около 40 минути. До 7 работни дни ще получите 30 подбрани кадъра с цветни корекции в дигитален формат. Допълнително можете да поръчате снимки разпечатани на фотохартия в паспарту или рамка.
Услугата е подходяща за дами, като при предварителна уговорка може да се адаптира за двойки, семейства или момински партита. Фотосесиите са възможни целогодишно, но най-подходящи са пролетта, лятото и есента. The tour includes a walk through our modern gravity-flow winery, where participants will learn about the entire winemaking process – from grapes to bottle. You will visit the fermentation rooms, bottling line, and the underground tunnels where our wines mature. Our professional guide will present the history of Villa Melnik and its founders, entrepreneurs and pioneers in wine tourism and in promoting local grape varieties. We will place special emphasis on the terroir of the region and its characteristic grapes.
This is followed by a tasting of 5 selected wines from the winery’s portfolio, accompanied by practical training led by an experienced wine specialist. Participants will learn the key steps of professional tasting – observation, aromatic analysis, and flavor evaluation. The training also covers useful skills for wine serving, food pairing, and business etiquette related to wine consumption in a professional context.
In addition, we serve nuts, breadsticks, and seasonal produce from our gardens to provide a comfortable and balanced tasting environment.

Join us for a tour of Villa Melnik and a tasting of 5 wines from unique local varieties, guided by our friendly wine hosts.
The tour begins among the winery’s vineyards, where we grow Broadleaf Melnik (Shiroka Melnik) vines in two different formations – on a cordon and as a low bush trained close to the ground.
It continues through all stages of the production process – from grape reception, through fermentation vessels, bottling, and aging in the underground cellar tunnels carved deep into the sandy hill. During the presentation, you will learn more about Villa Melnik’s family history, the specifics of the Melnik terroir, and the unique local grape varieties.
During the tasting, you will discover the “Family Tree of the Melniks” – the ancient endemic variety Broadleaf Melnik (Shiroka Melnik) and its modern crossings – rare local grapes that grow only in our region. You will hear fascinating facts about their creation and characteristics.
You will taste 5 selected wines from several Melnik variations – white, rosé, and red; fresh and unoaked, as well as barrel-aged.
Our guide will lead you through the steps of tasting and help you explore the aromas and flavors of the wine using an aroma wheel.
In addition to the tasting, we serve breadsticks, nuts, and seasonal fresh or dried fruits from our gardens.
