The popular US sommelier, blogger, and author of the bestseller “The Unfiltered Guide to Working in Wine”, Hillary Zio, visited Villa Melnik in April! In her words, Villa Melnik was up there among her favorite wineries and she still can’t get the orange wine out of her mind. Read her blog post here.
Hillary visited us as part of a ten-person delegation of wine industry professionals from the USA. The trip around the wineries of the Melnik Region was organized by Fine European Wines, a project to promote Bulgarian wines in the States. Read more about the tour and the project here.
