22 Dec Villa Melnik is in Top 100 World’s Best Vineyards for the Third Year
We are proud to share that for the third year in a row, Villa Melnik Winery has been honored as one of the Top 100 World’s Best Vineyards – for 2020, 2021 and 2022.
The prestigious ranking was announced on 26.10.2022 in Mendoza, Argentina, and this year for the second time there are two other Bulgarian wineries in the ranking – congratulations to the colleagues from Dragomir and Midalidare!

The World’s Best Vineyards ranking is prepared by voting by 500 wine experts, sommeliers and specialists in the field of wine tourism from all over the world. The purpose of the ranking is to promote wine tourism in all its diversity. The Top 100 wineries have a special approach towards their guests, are located in beautiful regions with a rich cultural heritage and traditions in viticulture, winemaking and gastronomy, focus on events, various activities, hight quality local food, excellent service, unique experiences and of course – high quality wine.
Among the 100 awardees are world-renowned names of producers from the most popular wine destinations such as Bordeaux, Napa Valley, Tuscany, Stellenbosch, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina

For us, this award is the result of our dedicated work and efforts to develop wine tourism in the region of Melnik, Sandanski and Petrich by cooperating with other local producers and businesses and contributing to our community.
