Spring arrives with the scent of wine, flowers, and joy!

On April 4th (Saturday), Villa Melnik once again opens its doors for our traditional event inspired by one of the sunniest Bulgarian holidays – Lazarovden (Lazarus Saturday).

Lazarovden is a celebration of youth, the “lazarki” tradition, and the hope for a fertile year. It is the moment when nature celebrates new life, and we gather to share the pleasure of fine wine and great company. Come and celebrate with us!

Traditions & Creativity:

• Flower Wreaths: Following tradition, we will craft beautiful wreaths from willow twigs and spring flowers for health and good luck.
• Farmers’ Market: Discover artisanal products, handmade treasures, and unique local treats from our regional producers.
• Folk Music & Dance: The “Nikola Vaptsarov” Ensemble from Sandanski will bring smiles to our faces and get everyone dancing.
• Workshops: Creative activities for all ages (see details below).

Wine & Food:

• Wine Bar: Enjoy the best of Villa Melnik’s selection and our special, refreshing homemade Sangria.
• Food Zone: Delicious hot food will be available throughout the day to keep your energy up.

• Graffiti Workshop with Studio 0511.bg
  Following last year’s success, we continue transforming the wall above the winery! Our friends from 0511.bg will prepare the design and teach anyone interested – young or old – how to use spray paints. Whether you are a beginner or have experience, come and create with us!

• Wool Felting Workshop with Art IDea Atelie
  Deya will take you into the world of ancient crafts. Besides browsing her unique handmade souvenirs, you can create your own ornament using the traditional wool felting technique.

  Channel your inner Robin Hood! Join our professional demonstration and archery lesson for those who want to test their aim in the great outdoors.
• Off-Road Wine Excursion to the “Magic Tree”
  A jeep adventure with Sun Valley Experience – stay tuned for more information coming soon!
• Nature’s Workshop: Give new life to vine twigs by creating something unique with your own hands.
