Villa Melnik’s Rare Varieties Melnik 1300 Jubilee Among the Elite in DiVino Top 50

At an official ceremony held on March 26, 2026, in Sofia, the best Bulgarian wines were announced in the 15th edition of the DiVino Top 50 rankings. It is with great excitement that we share that our Rare Varieties Melnik 1300 Jubilee 2021 has been honored among the elite of Bulgarian winemaking.

This distinction is yet another proof of the immense potential of the unique indigenous varieties from the Struma Valley. The award is a recognition of the tireless work of the entire winery team – from the people who tend to our vineyards to the enologists who, with precision and inspiration, transform the grapes into exceptional wine.

We would like to express our gratitude to the DiVino team for their professionalism and long-standing contribution to promoting Bulgarian wine both locally and internationally. Their work is a key driver for the development of wine culture in our country.

Being included in the DiVino Top 50 is the latest success for Melnik 1300 Jubilee 2021. Over the past years, it has also solidified its position on the international stage with two key gold medals:

• Gold Medal from Mundus Vini 2026;
• Gold Medal from the Balkans International Wine Competition (BIWC) 2024.
