Shiroka Melnik vine: The heritage in our hearts

To truly understand Chill Melnik, we have to look back at our roots. Shiroka Melnik Vine (Broad-leaved Melnik Vine) is the proud emblem of our region – a indigenous grape variety with centuries of history that embodies the unique terroir of the Struma River Valley.

In its authentic nature, this grape yields wines with a naturally lighter body, smooth tannins, and a vibrant, sun-kissed acidity. Wines made from it are known for their bright, playful ruby color and alluring aromas of juicy red fruits. It was precisely these natural characteristics that inspired us to create something completely fresh and unexpected.

After numerous journeys, wine travels, and tastings around the globe, we embraced one of the most exciting and fast-growing global trends in modern wine culture – chillable reds.

Today’s wine lovers are looking for light, effortless, and easy-drinking red wines. Wines that don’t demand heavy multi-course dinners or formal occasions, but rather good vibes, sunshine, and great company. While we are all used to chilling white wines and rosés during the summer, the world is rediscovering the irresistible charm of a red wine served well below its standard temperature.

Fermented entirely in stainless steel (inox) tanks, the wine preserves its purest fruit-forward nature. Crafted without any oak aging, it bursts with clean, vibrant aromas of fresh strawberries, wild raspberries, and ripe forest berries. With its bright ruby hue, light body, and silky-smooth tannins, Chill Melnik is the ultimate refreshing companion for the warmer months.

How to Enjoy It?

To fully unlock its lively, crisp, and fruity character, we recommend serving it well-chilled at 11°C – 14°C (52°F – 57°F).
